With nearly two decades of experience in the glass and glazing industry, I started SMART Maintenance to fill a much-needed gap in the market—offering affordable, high-quality service and repair work that larger companies often overlook.
As a Certified Master Glazier and long-time member of the Australian Glass and Window Association (AGWA), I bring a hands-on, detail-focused approach to every job. Whether it’s repairing a sliding door, maintaining shower screens, or servicing windows, my goal is to get it done right the first time—with lasting results.
I’ve built SMART Maintenance to support real estate agents, aged care facilities, and homeowners with reliable, efficient service, using only quality parts that are built to last. All my workmanship is backed by a twelve-month warranty, and I make sure communication is clear, honest, and straightforward from the first quote to the final clean-up.
I believe in keeping overheads low so I can keep prices fair—and I’m proud to offer a professional service that doesn’t cut corners.

My Story
I'm Stewart Patrick, and SMART Maintenance is more than just a business—it's the result of nearly 20 years of hard work, hands-on experience, and a genuine passion for helping people.
I started out as a young glazier and worked my way up through the industry, taking on everything from residential shower screens to large commercial projects. Over time, I noticed something: a lot of companies were turning away smaller service and repair jobs. These were often the jobs everyday people really needed—fixing a sticking sliding door, replacing a broken window lock, or servicing a leaky shower screen. That’s when the idea for SMART Maintenance began to take shape.
I wanted to create a business that focused on the jobs others didn’t want, but did them with the same level of care and skill as the big ones. A business that was fast, reliable, honest—and didn't charge the earth.
So, I took the leap. With a ute full of tools, my trade certificate, and a deep understanding of the industry, I launched SMART Maintenance to give people a better option. One where repairs are done right the first time, and where clients know exactly what they’re getting—no guesswork, no shortcuts.
Today, I work with real estate agents, aged care facilities, and local homeowners, providing quality repairs and maintenance services backed by integrity and attention to detail. I’ve built this business to last, just like the work I do—and one day, I hope to pass it on to my son.
